Super Moms Breakfast Club
I joined this awesome group on Meetup called the Super Moms Breakfast Club right before I left for our family's summer vacation to Las Cruces, NM and Chicago. What a blessing this has been for me. My circle of friends have grown and I've met some amazing women and (men!) who come together to share their experiences and knowledge in such a positive manner.
At the first meetup I attended back in July I met the creators of the group, Sarah Kalicki Nakamura & Cindy Sakai, Co-Owners of TH!NK, LLC. Sarah & Cindy are so much fun and have so much they are willing to share with everyone.
They invited me to do a presentation on my Documenting Your Journey where I shared Studio J, which is a great tool to get all those pictures you've taken (and may still be on that memory card!) and create beautiful layouts of your memories. Visit my My Art to see some of my layouts.
I've really enjoyed meeting new friends at the weekly Friday morning Meetup! I hope you'll join us soon.

Why it's called the Close To My Heart IDEA BOOK & Catalog
I love creating scrapbook pages, cards and other paper crafts. I'm not especially creative so I rely heavily upon scrapbook & card magazines, craft blogs & websites and my go-to favorite is the Close To My Heart Idea Book & Catalog. I save all past issues!! They are filled with so much artwork, techniques and tips.
If you don't have the current Autumn/Winter 2010 issue visit my website here to see what inspired my latest creation on page 69. I saw this box on display at the CTMH Annual Convention in Washington DC in July and I've been wanting to create it ever since.
The Halloween card I posted yesterday was also inspired from the Autumn/Winter 2010 Idea Book & Catalog - page 96. I used several pieces of scrap cardstock and B&T paper and I was really pleased with the result.
I will be posting a series of INSPIRATIONS on my blog. What inspires you?
CTMH supply list: My Creations Cube Z1152, Creative Basics Mistletoe Collection X5811, Cocoa Cardstock, Mistletoe My Stickease X7130C, Mistletoe Level 2 Assortment Z1330.

My Paper Dreamin Blog
YES!!! I dream about paper. George says I'm addicted. Despite moving in 2004 and leaving my paper collection back home, I have managed to start a whole new collection of paper. Since becoming a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant I now use much of the paper I collect. I have become confidant in my scrapbooking and cardmaking. I love creating gifts for my friends and relatives. . . and I think they love receiving them!
